Together, continuous replication of server data and instant user file protection to servers can ensure complete protection and offline archiving of critical corporate data. Double-Take from Double-Take Software and FileKeeper from Yosemite Technologies both install drivers that filter and capture I/O requests from the OS as they pass to the file-system, before the request is given to the hardware. These complimentary products offer core server and edge data protection respectively.

With Yosemite FileKeeper, data is replicated from the cache on the laptop or desktop disk to a 'backup location' configured on networked disk using centrally defined policies.
Double-Take continuously captures byte-level changes as they happen on the server and replicates those changes to one or more target servers at any location, over any standard network connection.

Using the products together, companies can use Double-Take to replicate the FileKeeper Backup location to a target server in another location or central datacenter and achieve a comprehensive data protection solution from the Core to the Edge.
